Bios

• Ms Rosita

  Ms. Rosita has been the On-site School Owner and Operator of The Goddard School of Geist since January 2004. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from UCLA and has brought over 20 years of experience in early childhood education to the Geist community. Rosita is passionate about fostering safe, nurturing spaces where children learn through inquiry and play. She is committed to maintaining strict health and safety standards and is proud that her school has been nationally accredited with NAEYC for the past 15 years. As a hands-on leader, Rosita values strong partnerships with families to support every child’s success. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and four children, all proud Goddard graduates! We look forward to welcoming you to The Goddard School family!

• Ms Valerie

  Valerie has been teaching at Goddard Geist since 2007. Before becoming a center director, she taught at both the high school and preschool grade levels. She is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Spanish and also holds a National Director Credential. She has two sons that attended Goddard Geist. In her free time, Valerie enjoys reading, baking, and attempting to garden.

• Ms Christine

  Christine has been teaching in the infant classroom since 2013. She holds a CDA with an infant/toddler specialization. Christine is passionate about helping babies meet their developmental milestones. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and racing events.

• Elise

  Welcome to the Seahorse classroom! My name is Elise and I am so excited to work with your children! I have been teaching preschool since 2020, and I love it! My goal each school year is to build a relationship with my students and help them build relationships with their peers. We will be learning through activities that are aligned with developmentally appropriate curriculum. I believe play should be a big part of the day. I am thrilled to be on the The Goddard of Geist teaching team!

• Jessica

  Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and has been teaching preschool for over 13 years. She enjoys planning hands-on science and art activities based on children's interests to keep them engaged. Jessica extends learning outside whenever possible, knowing that 2-yr-olds need that time outdoors. In her free time, she likes to take her puppy on hikes.

• Ms Laila

  Laila joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2017. She has a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. The Goddard School of Geist is her first teaching position since moving to the United States from the Philippines. Laila enjoys using songs to enhance her morning meeting time, and frequently shares videos on her daily reports. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and son.

• Ms Liz

  Liz joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2017 as a Lead Teacher in the Bridge classroom. In 2025, she began a dual role where she supports the admin team as the Curriculum & QA Coordinator. Liz is currently pursuing an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to new places.

• Rebecca

  Rebecca has been leading our Toddler 1 classroom since 2020, and prior to that taught at a Goddard School in Georgia. She has been in early education for over 20 years. Her favorite part of the day is reading aloud with her toddlers, doing all the voices and making it interactive! Rebecca is the proud mother of three sons and has three granddaughters.

• Tamkeen

  Welcome to the Seahorse classroom! My name is Tamkeen and I am the Lead Teacher in the Preschool 1 room. I have a CDA with a Preschool specialization. I have been teaching since 2019. I was born and raised in Pakistan and moved to the US when I got married. I love to be around children! Teaching preschool at Goddard allows me to use my passion for education while I learn even more about this field!

• Taylor

  Taylor has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from Indiana State University, but she has always loved working with children. She was a nanny for over a year, which lead her to want to pursue a career in early childhood education. The children in her class gleefully call her "Tay-Tay."

• Alexis

  Welcome to the Bridge classroom! My name is Alexis and I am the Assistant Teacher. I have been working with children since 2017. I have three sons that keep me busy! My favorite part of working with toddlers is partnering with families to help children meet their developmental milestones.

• Cheyenne

  Welcome to The Goddard School! My name is Cheyenne and I am the Assistant Teacher in the Twos classroom. I have been a preschool teacher since 2021, and I have also worked in an ABA center serving children with developmental needs. I love watching them grow into their own little people with their own personalities! I chose The Goddard School because they have great values that align with mine.

• Isabella

  Welcome to the Preschool 2 classroom! My name is Isabella, and I am the Assistant Teacher. I am studying neuroscience as well as pursuing my CDA with a Preschool specialization. I love working with children and helping them discover new ideas!

• Katie

  Katie joined The Goddard School of Geist in 2023. She holds her CDA with an infant/toddler specialization. Katie enjoys providing a safe space where infants and explore and grow. In her spare time, Katie likes to go to the movies and make unique art pieces.

• Stephanie

  Stephanie has been teaching at Goddard Geist since 2020. In college, she studied social work. Stephanie emphasizes the importance of developmental milestones in her classroom. When students meet a new goal, it puts a smile on her face! In her free time, Stephanie enjoys collecting Pokemon cards.

• Taylor

  Welcome to Goddard! My name is Taylor and I am an Assistant Teacher. I have been working in early education since 2019. I enjoy art and dancing with my students! I am in a traditional Mexican dance group that performs locally. I am excited to connect with the students here and help them grow!

• Vusala

  Vusala joined the teaching team in 2024. She has been in the field of education for over 15 years, primarily teaching mathematics. Vusala believes that every child deserves a nurturing and supportive environment, so that is exactly what she provides. She is originally from Azerbaijan. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and three kids.

• Ms Grace

  Grace has been teaching with Goddard Geist since 2012. She has been a Lead Teacher and is now part of the resource team, which means she helps in each and every classroom. As an early childhood educator for more than 35 years, she takes pride in developing age-appropriate lessons for the children to enjoy including activities such as singing songs, reading books, creating artwork, and exercising their bodies.

• Margaret

  My name is Maggie and I am on the Resource Team! I work in the early hours of the morning, 7:00-9:00am to support classroom opening schedules. My son has been attending The Goddard School of Geist since 2021. In 2023, I decided to join the teaching team here at The Goddard School of Geist. I am also a gymnastics coach, and I love doing fun and active things with our students!
